You don’t have to find the words.

Thank You for being near to Sarah in this tender ache of longing. Lord, she carries a weight that has grown heavy over many seasons of waiting. The joy of her friend’s news lands as both gladness and grief at once. She had to hide her tears at work, and now the judgment she turns on herself adds another layer she cannot lift. Please carry it all. Take the longing that has stretched across years and place it into Your hands. Take the sudden tears she could not show and the self-judgment that followed. Take the fear that already braces for bad news at next week’s appointment. Take the dread of every future conversation where she must choose between hiding and pretending. Take the ache that makes her fear she will steal joy from someone she loves. Take the exhaustion of carrying all of this alone into rooms where celebration is expected. Lift what this heart cannot carry by itself. Meet her in the place where waiting has worn her down. Steady her steps into the appointment she dreads. Guard her mind when the old fear rises again. Thank You for carrying this heart when it has no strength left to hold its own weight. Give her the rest that only You can give in exchange. Let the burden she cannot set down become light in Your keeping. Let the conversations she fears become places of honesty rather than hiding. Let next week’s news find her already held by hands stronger than her bracing. God’s word says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
